Some of these qualifications are required for Licence to Practise activities or for membership of a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) register. Certificates of competencies include those to perform stump grinding operations, chainsaw and related operations, to fell and process small trees, to fell and process tree of over 380mm diameter, to sever multiple windblown trees and to climb trees and perform aerial rescue.
